Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is the process of massaging the vehicle's metal and essentially rubbing the damage back to its original form. This is achieved with a number of different specialty tools, that are used by working the underside or backside off the damaged panel of the vehicle. We use fluorescent lights to show off the car's paint finish which allows us to see exactly when we have remove 100% of the dent.
This repair is beneficial for a number of reasons.
First, we require no paint work. With the advantage of keeping the original factory paint, you will not have any bondo or replacement parts on your car. Also, you will not have the worry of aftermarket paint.
Another benefit would be cost. The PDR process is much less than conventional body shop methods of repair because there are no parts to replace or painting to be done.
Also, the downtime of your vehicle in the shop is drastically reduced. Door dings can be repaired in a s little as 20 minutes and hail damage typically in the same day, depending on the severity of the damage.
